IN SUMMER:
Pescasseroli is positioned at the center of the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. Located in the upper valley of the Sangro, at 1167 m. above sea level, in an amphitheater of mountains and woods, its territory conseva the wild beauty of the landscape and an amazing variety of flora and fauna. Strategic base, then, for excursions in a nature alive and engaging.
In the heart of the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise, hiking and trekking activities are practicable on horseback, with some riding centers pescasserolesi and surrounding villages. Our facility collaborates with mountain guides recognized by the National Park of Abruzzo and organizes tours and themed weekends in most of the year. IN WINTER:
In the cold months the beautiful ski slopes and the many possibilities of hiking the snowy mountains of Pescasseroli making it one of the most popular winter resorts. The ski area of Pescasseroli is of considerable size, with more than 20 kilometers of trails for downhill skiing, that wind on the slopes of Mounts Vitelle Ceraso and served by modern lifts and more than 30 kilometers for Nordic skiing at the center Fund Macchiavarana Opi. Skiing in Pescasseroli is a very pleasant experience: wide slopes and great snow cover, variable slopes that allow everyone to have fun in the beautiful setting of Monti Marsicani and the Abruzzo National Park.

Even in winter the Park nature provides us with picturesque scenery, from snowy landscapes, the embroidery designs and carves the ice between the branches of trees, the frost that covers the morning meadows and fields, the various winter flowers, to the many and various traces of animals in the snow.

This season you can take walks, with cross-country skiing and hiking along the routes marked and authorized, have fun and take advantage of the ski lifts of Pescasseroli and the Italian Ski School.
